hi. first time I have pre ordered from EE normally I go via Samsung direct

my pre-order says "Dispatch expected in 24 hours"

does this mean stock has been allocated and delivery should be friday?

You will get an email off dpd soon.

I ordered the day pre orders went live and have had dpd email me already.

It means that it will be with DPD within 24 hours, however, it does not promise a delivery tomorrow, I am in the same boat as you buddy, keeping my fingers crossed for a text tonight from DPD saying it will be here tomorrow.

To all of you, you can keep track of your order by either going into your account or clicking on help at the top of the page here and then click on tracking my order.

You will get a text message from DPD the evening before delivery and then on the day another one with a one hour window of delivery.

I've only just upgraded to it about 20mins ago the man couldnt guarantee it would arrive tomorrow... however if you go to the ee online shop now it still says arrive by 23rd. So fingers crossed. If their still advertising to get it tomorrow, then it should come. Right ?

There is no guarantee to get it on launch day, and seeing as you have just upgraded the day before I very much doubt you will be.

Clearly states in the Legal bit on the Note 10 page that will be delivered within 30 days of Launch..

There is no guarantee of launch day.

That 30 days buggers me up then Brendon as had I known that, I would have simply purchased direct from Samsung who guaranteed delivery if ordered by the 17th for the Note 10+ 5G 512GB version. I go on holiday in two weeks time and if it arrives while away, there’s no way the driver will be able to verify with passport or Driving License requirement meaning the thing will end up sprouting legs at the DPD depot with EE then wanting to charge me.

It was a total PITA last time, the iPhone 6s went back to the warehouse, “got lost in transit”, that resulted in having a bill from Orange that would not accept we had never seen it. I even had someone from billing on the phone telling me the unit was being used and that was proof we had received it. This was only dispelled I pointed out the phone I was on and the accounts other units were on in our house, yet we were being accused of being 40 miles away in another location that couldn’t possibly be ourselves as they had spoken to all the phone users in the house..

It took us two years to resolve, so no, had I been told by EE when I ordered the device! I would have purchased it from Samsung directly and been playing with the bloody device!

Im currently in Cyprus on holiday so I got the phone delivered to my parents house instead. better than having a parcel knocking around DPD croydon 🙂
