Promised date for Apple watch 4 now 2 weeks later

Looks like the same old story from last year 😞

When I ordered on the phone I was told delivery date would be friday the 21st of september or Monday the 24 th of September.

I have just checked my order status and it says 5th to the 8th of October.

I would like someone to explain this to me please.

Sorry to hear you're expected delivery date has changed.
