Problems with DPD

Ordered mobile broadband was told would arrive next day. No contact from EE next day. Text from DPD next day to inform of one hour delivery slot ( website showing item at depot) item did not arrive and today item still has not arrived. Unable to contact DPD as twice held on phone for 15 minutes and still never got speaking to anyone. Depot is 45 mins from my home. Why is this happening especially as account now up and running.

Welcome to the community,

You will not get a delivery at the weekend, I would suggest you ring EE customer service and speak to them, to find out what is going on. I have never had a problem with DPD.

Were you at home when the delivery was due?

You could also go onto DPD website, I believe and message them from there, possibly.

The order being delivered to a pick up store who stated they had deliveries yesterday but item was not amongst them. No word today from DPD who deliver on Sundays in Scotland. Website states parcel has not been processed yet although was received at depot at 8am Friday. I am just annoyed that what I was originally told turned out to be misleading also that EE use a company who are so unreliable. Thanks for your reply.

Yes DPD do deliveries at the weekend, but at an extra cost, so not sure that you were given a delivery for the weekend, never had a problem where I am, so could be area dependent, maybe, depot dependent.

Delivery text was definitely for yesterday Sat 15th. And shop confirmed that they deliver seven days. There is always tomorrow. Thank you.

Hi @PBEB9449,

DPD do delivery 7 days a week for EE. As @Schockwave has advised there is an additional charge if this is requested.

Have you managed to track your order through DPD with the link on the text they sent? It will take you straight to your order.

Let us know how you get on when you contact the store tomorrow
