10% discount offer

I'm on PAYG, a very old pack that they dont offer anymore and I was texted an offer from EE. 10% off every pack if I registered my bank card for automatic monthly renewals. It saves me remembering to pay every month so I did it. My £10 per month pack should now be £9 but they've taken £10 and I've had no further communication to let me know how I'm getting my 10% discount.

The marketing says "You can now get 10% off any pack, any time".

But the terms and conditions say "The 10% discount is only applicable to PAYG Mobile packs launched in or after 2021."

Someone at EE needs to find out which statement is correct, and amend whichever one is not correct.
