Reseller Scancom, selling EE prepay contracts, is it legit?

Hello there, not sure if it's allowed but I am an existing EE pay as you go data customer I use a 4g router for internet when away, I have just seen an advert on Facebook for an EE pre pay SIM for a one off £40 payment and is advertised as 60gb off EE 4g data a month for 6 months, seems to good to be true. Anyone ever used this company or can EE tell me if they are legit.

Hi @y2krog2000 and welcome to the community

Firstly by means of terminology, "prepay" generally refers to a PAYG setup - which by definition, is not a contract.

Having said that, scancom are a legitimate third party dealer who are authorised to sell EE products.

Yes it is legit though I didn't go through with it, reason why is that they don't allow roaming at all and I use my device when in the Republic Of Ireland EE have said it's exactly the same as other EE sims and uses the same bands when in the UK but only difference is it won't work abroad.
