All Free Boosts Claimed

I've checked my EE app and it says at the top in the FREE BOOSTS section All free boosts now claimed! You've maxed out your free boosts. Why not switch to pay monthly for better value and fantastic extras?

I didn't realise there was a limit on boosts. Is this an error or is there actually a limit? I have 20 boosts by the way.

The amount of free free boosts you have depends on the packs you have bought. You can see how this works on our EE Free Boosts page.

Thanks for the reply but I'm not sure that answers my question. My question was about if there is a limit on how many boosts you can claim in total.

I have received the message in my original post when I log into my EE basically saying I'm not eligible to receive any future boosts as I have reached a limit.

Is this an error or is there an actual cut off where you no longer receive future boosts when you top up?

@Dannynufc No we have no maximum amount.

If you’ve bought three 30-day packs or 12 seven-day packs then the boosts should continue. If this isn't the case then I would advise contacting our customer care team, so they can check what's going on.

Hi,

Yes I am getting the same message when I recently updated the My EE app. Then when I logged in online it said you will get a free data boost of 500mb every 2 packs not 3. If you look further down this message in the app it will say the same thing. I have a spare phone on my account with a £5 pack. I renewed my pack and still was able to choose a free Boost of 25 mins. Don't know why nobody knows about these things at EE they must put them there.

You're right. I've just checked online and it says im 2 packs away from my next boost. I agree it doesn't make any sense to put that on the app. Thanks for your help

Hi,

The new app message if you scroll down to the bottom says you will get free boosts of 500mb a maximum of 6 times. Yet my other phone which I can have either 100mb or 25mins boost says the same. I can't get 500mb boost on £5 pack only 100mb.

Yeah I saw that at the bottom. I was hoping someone from EE could clarify if there was now a limit but someone earlier in thread said there isn't so Ill just have to wait and see if I can boost when I buy 2 more packs

This has happened to me, "All Free Boosts now Claimed!" I have been with EE long enough to have 28 Free Boosts, I seem to remember the scheme was advertised as the longer you're with us the more boosts you get, no mention of a cap. It also appears to be an arbitrary cap where you are around this time from other posts.

Is this an error or is it EE trying to get rid of low value customers?

@hall68 : It's saying "Each time you buy 2 packs ...". Normally you would only buy 1 pack at time. But if you were to buy 2 at once, you'd get the extra 500 MB data boost, but you can only do that a max of 6 times. That's on top of of your normal boosts every 3 months, which you could do ad nauseum.
