mobile internet and SMS does not work

I'm a new member, I bought a package for 10 pounds, it shows me that I have 4 gigabytes of Internet, 100 minutes and unlimited SMS, but the mobile Internet does not work and SMS is not sent, it is the same on another phone, and when I put another SIM card everything works.

hello,

try opening up " gov.uk " web page or " nhs.uk " if this pages opening then EE have applied a Data cap you will find that when you call you be lest with only front line call operator who will to manage to call by leaving you on hold for long time only to back to the call to say we have run check , every thing is working fine , if you ask to be transferred to Technical yo will told i'm very sorry but they wont take calls here is the problem if your tied in to a contract you stuck if you on pay as you go the only option is add more credit .....

What does texting AL to 150 from it fully report verbatim (it is free)?

With "Balance" same "not sent, tap to try again" , Xiaomi redme 9 but I tried with another sim card from EE ( from my friend) and it's working, same when I try in his phone my sim card it's same not working mobile internet and texts, I can call only.

i have had a look and found some step you can try

TURN-OFF Mi Messaging on your phone. This can be done by (while in Messaging) long press menu button to enter Message Settings (Figure 1) then toggle the Mi Message to OFF (Figure 2). Downside here is you won't be able to use Mi Messaging which is pretty useful for texting friends free of charge. (that is if their connected to the internet and use MIUI too.)

[Tips] [MIUI Device Team] How to solve "Your SIM card is not activated"

New phone, new SIM card. We open our phone and go through the motion of setting it up and turning on Mi Messaging and then when we get to the home screen, what do we see? Immediately we get the "Could not activate SIM card" notification. It's frustrating because it keeps notifying us without actually saying what its for or how to solve it right?

So what is this error? The error is due to your SIM card trying to send a message to Xiaomi to verify your SIM card number and activate your Mi Messaging. This has nothing to do with your network connection. Since most of us use prepaid SIM and normally dont have enough balance to send SMS abroad, the SMS fails.
