NHS discount on upgrade

I’m due an upgrade and get the NHS discount on my current contract. Do the upgrade prices I can see include the NHS discount, or will this be added on after? Are there any plans that wouldn’t be eligible for the discount?

Hi @Welshbex

Thanks for coming to the community.

You would need to get a new Perk code from the perk portal and then you can apply the perk code on the Benefits page of the EE Shop before you get to checkout. This shows as 'Got a gift voucher'.

The discount is not eligible on plans already discounted or any other offers.

Thanks. I’ve added the perks code and it’s saying not valid, but I don’t know why as I am just looking to upgrade to an iPhone 13pro on Essential plan. No discounts have been added.
If I log out of my account and try to buy the plan it works. So do

I need to leave EE and then rejoin as a new customer? Seems very strange if I do.

Hi @Welshbex.

This is not the case, your EE Perk discount can be used when upgrading.

Is your current plan out of contract?

Is the plan you are selecting on offer at the moment?

Yes my contract is up for renewal . I was just looking at getting the £65 a month 40GB essential plan. It’s not on offer - same price if I log out of my account.

In this case, please give our Mobile Care team a call on 150. They can help you upgrade with the perk code 🙂
