I mistakenly applied for a SIM only contract thinking the line I had that my friend took out for me ended in November. But then realised it actually doesn’t end until March. I filled in the returns form and sent it back to the channel returns email within 14 days, got an email back to confirm the return and that all charges would be reversed if used but that if I hadn’t used it not to worry no charges would be applied. Today I woke up to find myself over drawn because EE have taken the direct debit…. Help!

Hi @charly2290

Direct debits are submitted days in advance, so once EE has processed your first bill, it's likely too late to stop the direct debit if you then cancel your account. I would suggest you contact EE and ask them to arrange the refund.
