Question about the package

Hello,

I am currently using the package of '1 year with unlimited calls and texts and 20GB of data' and paying 20 pounds each months, but now i am living in different country so I want to end this package, what should I need to do to end this package?

@Luckylily : You need to phone EE giving 30 days notice of cancellation of your contract. If you are still within your min term you will be liable to pay early termination fees for the rest of the term. It will basically be months left x monthly charge - 20%.

Thank you. Is there any way that I can stop the package and resume it when I come back to the UK?

If I use the different SIM card and different phone number (in different country and not using the package from EE), will the package fee (20pounds) still be paid? (if do, how can I stop it?)

Also, if there any other way that I can contact EE instead of phone call?

You could cancel your contract as I described and at the same time ask for it to be mo to PAYG in order to keep your number.

Until and unless you cancel your contract as described you are committed to paying the fee every month.

If I cancel the package, will they give me the confirmation email by any chance?

Just to make sure my package is cancelled and it won't charge any more for the following month, will they give me any sort of emails or confirmation invoice like that?

Also, if I cancel that package, is my SIM card and my number no longer available?

They will send you your final bill.

Once a contract is cancelled the SIM & its no. are dead unless you asked for it to be transferred to PAYG..

Hi @Luckylily

When you come to the end of your contract it won't just end, it's just the minimum term that is up, therefore nothing will change and the contract will continue on a rolling month basis at the same cost. You do have options available depending on your situation.

Once you are in the last 45 days of your contract you can:

1. Agree a new contract and get a new phone.

2. Upgrade to a SIM-only contract, this means you don't get a new phone but you do agree a new deal.

Once you are in the last 30 days of your contract you can choose a cancellation:

1. Cancel the contract, ask for your PAC & port your no. to another network.

2. Upgrade to a SIM-only contract, this means you don’t get a new phone but you do agree a new deal.

3. Transfer to PAYG with EE.

4. Walk away entirely and lose your number.

You will receive a final bill which is a summary of anything you owe or are owed.

Your final bill will be sent by post or you will receive an email telling you your final bill is available for viewing online.
