Upgraded to SIM only 24 month contract - Can I still upgrade phone later

My phone contracted ended today and I opted for a SIM only deal for 24 months.

Does this mean I cannot upgrade my phone for 24 months or can I still upgrade from SIM to contract, when the phone is released I require?

I believe you'll be able to upgrade to a phone contract after 6 months.

Welcome to the EE community

The upgrade eligibilty rules for SIM-only plans are on the bottom of page-5 of EE SIM only price guide

Although that only mentions 12month plans, there's no reason to believe that 24month plans are any different - and there's nothing contrary documented anywhere.
