EE Debt sold to debt collector) Account closed

When the pandemic started in March 2020, as a student I had to go back home and because of the financial situation I couldn't send funds to England so couldn't pay my monthly bill. I received an email around August 2020 from a debt collector saying I had to pay them. I prefer to sort it out with EE, the problem is my university email expired so I couldn't continue the conversation with the debt collector. Also, I prefer if EE allow me to pay monthly as I am not using the Sim card since March 2020 and I am a student.

As it's been so long the likelihood is that your account with us is now closed. That means you'll need to deal with the agency that contacted you.

Do you know which company that is?

I marked this as solution by mistake, I didn't receive any email from EE and I couldn't receive any messages because I wasn't in the UK. I don't want to deal with a debt collector, I paid all previous bills on time, is there any way I pay EE directly?

I don't have a clue which agency it is

@Coa16me The best thing to do is have a chat with our collections team to see if they can help.

Their opening ours are:

Monday-Friday 08:00 - 20:00

Saturday 08:00 - 18:00

Sunday 09:00 - 17:00
