Hi, I ordered the new iPhone 13 pro max and got an email telling me it has been dispatched on 03/12/21. The day before it was shipped my current phone (iPhone 11 pro max) lost service and I could no longer text, call or use data. I tried resetting network settings and switched off my phone but nothing worked.

I received my new iPhone on 06/12/21. At this point I still had no service on my old phone. I set up my new one and put in my old SIM card and somehow had service again. I received a text from ‘MyEE’ with a 6 digit pin and to call them if I didn’t request this. The text was sent when I didn’t have service so didn’t see it until days later.

Every time I’ve upgraded in the past, my phone service has continued working until the new one has arrived. Should I call EE about this and has this happened to anyone else? I’m worried that my SIM has been hacked.
