PAC code

Hi! I used my pac code when I transferred from Vodafone to EE when my contract with Vodafone. However when my pay monthly sim arrived it gave me a new number, despite using the pac code. Is there any way I can still keep my old number?

@Elliehuxter your number doesn’t get moved over to the Sim card that you’re expecting from EE until you’ve got that SIM card. If it was your Vodafone Sim or been cut off straight the way. You can not have 1 number over two SIM cards.

Hi @Leanne_T,

I received the sim yesterday and didn’t receive a text saying my old number has transferred. I’m quite confused as the EE app didn’t recognise the new number that was on the packet, and only recognised my old number. However, when I ring people, it’s the new that comes up!

If you go into the phone settings, is the number showing the temporary one?
