friends cant phone me

i transfered from vodephone to EE this morning it is telling me ican imssage and face time with my propper number but on my device my phone number is different people can not phone me on my propper number can not get through and tell them i am not available

please help

It often takes a little time before the transfer is complete, I am sure if you give it some time it will be OK later today.

Your Facetime and Messenger will be using data and not your phone number.

Can you clarify that Friday 17th is your port-in date? If so, the port process can take until much later in the day as already advised.

Apps such as Facetime, WhatsApp & Messenger don't use EE's mobile network in the same way as direct-dialled voice calls do.
