&lt;P&gt;There's no such thing as a 4G SIM, there's just an EE SIM - that is capable of working on any of EE's radio technologies. Any EE SIM will work in any compatible phone, and if that phone is only a 2G/3G one, then that's the service you will get.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I see &lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/395917"&gt;@Kirigaya_Kazuto&lt;/a&gt; has already mentioned the impending 3G switch-off, so in-time any non-4G phone will only receive 2G service.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
