Hi, I seem to have the same problem as Mollie, I have a new Samsung Galaxy S21 with a new EE contract Sim, I appear to have service (although no ee symbol) and the phone will make and receive a call but will not send or receive a message. I spoke to ee on the phone and they said they do not recognise the new number?

Hello @Macass

Welcome to the EE community

It may be easier, rather than adding to a 2year old post, to explain what your issues are - and we can advise. From what I can understand, you have just bought a new pay-monthly phone and received a new SIM?

Was this an upgrade phone and you were already with EE, or is this a brand new connection? If it was an upgrade, then does your existing (working) SIM fit in your new phone - because if it does, then that's the best solution. EE often supply replacement SIMs with new phones in-case, for whatever reason, youre existing SIM isn't working/

If I've misunderstood, then sorry about that - and if you could explain what your query is, I'm sure the community can advise.
