I'm trying to get my prepaid sim working in my huawei r216R216 Mifi device.

My SIM is on the "B Sim 24m 100GB £32 5G" plan. The device is showing that its getting a signal and I can see my number but its "disconnected" and not connected to the internet but its getting SMS through OK as I can get validation messages

I've added the SIM to my ee account and it all looks fine. Is there something else that needs to be done to active a sim?

It's not a PAYG SIM as it's on a contract plan.

? I said it was a prepaid SIM not PAYG. Its a 6 month contract prepaid up front.

OK but it's conventional to use "Prepaid" for PAYG. Yes, you do prepay your regular monthly contract subs but any extras outside your allowances are postpaid.
