hi, i have a few months left on my sim only contract and am looking to upgrade thought a third party as its much much cheaper and more value for money.

i texted for a pac code and said i would be charged over a £100, my question is as im staying with EE but this time through a third party company will i still be charged this.

@jonny7750 : Yes, by using your PAC you are cancelling your existing EE contract some months early, regardless as to whether you are taking out a new EE contract be it thro' EE or a 3rd party. Using a 3rd party is immaterial.

You wouldn't be doing an upgrade as you are not within the timeframe for an upgrade. This would be a new entirely separate contract.

If you wish to use your PAC to cancel the old contract, it will need to be given to a different provider. Good luck!

Those early upgrades before the 45 day upgrade window can only be done with EE, not a 3rd party. So, no, you're not!
