Data SIM card in iPhone

Hi.

I have bought an over-the-till EE Data Sim Card with 200MB data and a top up voucher.

Intention to use this in a spare iPhone XS to access data only (mapping etc.).

Have put the SIM in the phone - and nothing has happened.

Are the EE Data Sim cards compatible with phones or are they just for tablets ?

@Chris19621 It’ll work in the phone. But the sim will need to activate first, this is usually no longer than 4 hours. Try restarting the device a few times as this can help. Basically the network needs to see the sim trying to connect.
