&lt;P&gt;The only other factor to bear in mind, the Ofcom coverage site you've mentioned, includes "4G 800Mhz extended range" coverage in its predictions for EE.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;That coverage is only available to pay-monthly EE customers with a compatible device, most current &amp;amp; recent phones do meet this criteria but no PAYG phone will currently be able to&amp;nbsp; access this service.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have&amp;nbsp; just&amp;nbsp; moved&amp;nbsp; home&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; and&amp;nbsp; am&amp;nbsp; unable&amp;nbsp; to&amp;nbsp; get a&amp;nbsp; phone&amp;nbsp; signal&amp;nbsp; with&amp;nbsp; 2 Sky sim cards&amp;nbsp;of mine in phone and tablet &amp;nbsp;and&amp;nbsp; 1 02 sim&amp;nbsp; card in my wife's&amp;nbsp; phone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Troubling&amp;nbsp; connecting&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; mobile data&amp;nbsp; and&amp;nbsp; also&amp;nbsp; making&amp;nbsp; calls.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Phone works&amp;nbsp; fine&amp;nbsp; elsewhere&amp;nbsp; and&amp;nbsp; not moved to&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; a&amp;nbsp; remote&amp;nbsp; area.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I&amp;nbsp; put&amp;nbsp; details&amp;nbsp; on&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;link below &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; which&amp;nbsp; shows that &amp;nbsp; 02&amp;nbsp; appears&amp;nbsp; weaker&amp;nbsp; than&amp;nbsp; EE&amp;nbsp; and&amp;nbsp; Vodafone in my&amp;nbsp; area.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.ofcom.org.uk/phones-telecoms-and-internet/advice-for-consumers/advice/ofcom-checker" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.ofcom.org.uk/phones-telecoms-and-internet/advice-for-consumers/advice/ofcom-checker&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sky&amp;nbsp; have&amp;nbsp; tried&amp;nbsp; everything&amp;nbsp; to&amp;nbsp; get&amp;nbsp; a&amp;nbsp; signal&amp;nbsp; but&amp;nbsp; nothing&amp;nbsp; worked&amp;nbsp; and&amp;nbsp; they&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; have&amp;nbsp; said&amp;nbsp; that&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp; can&amp;nbsp; be&amp;nbsp; released&amp;nbsp; from&amp;nbsp; my&amp;nbsp; contract.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No&amp;nbsp; EE&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; do&amp;nbsp; a&amp;nbsp; SIM&amp;nbsp; only&amp;nbsp; deal&amp;nbsp; and&amp;nbsp; could&amp;nbsp; they&amp;nbsp; check&amp;nbsp; the&amp;nbsp; signal&amp;nbsp; before&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp; buy&amp;nbsp; it .?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ian.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
