Porting in my number without a top up

I wish to port my number if from 3 network

I have a free EE sim card that ive activated and working

my question is can i port my number in from three

without having to topup as im not sure about reception in my area out and about

and i want to test it

and if i do port in and its rubbish signal

can i then port out without topup?

Hi @andrewpurkis and welcome to the community

You are likely to need credit on a PAYG phone in order to use it to test EE coverage.

You would be free to request a PAC at any time if you decide to leave to another network operator, but would lose any outstanding credit.
