Hi, as I bought my phone from EE, if I get a 2nd sim does it has to be with EE.

Yes as all phone's from EE are locked and can't be unlocked for first 6 months.

Hi @Trebor6864 and welcome to the community

The second SIM can be with whichever provider you choose.

Be aware that your phone is likely locked to EE, and so you will need to unlock your phone if you want to use a non-EE SIM.

Depending what phone you have, and when/where you bought it, will dictate if and/or how you can do this.
