A guy is selling brand new number in the internet which is memorable and kind of vip. Is it safe to buy it and activate it in my account?

Is this person, selling the number as a PAYG or pay-monthly? I would assume the former, but it's worth checking with them.

He is selling it as PAYG number

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

If you purchased a pay as you go SIM from a third party online, you may not have any protections in place should the advertiser not be the original account holder. Only the registered account holder would be able to help you transfer the account into your name.
