What day and time did you give EE the PAC code.

If after 5.30pm on Thursday then the port won't happen until Monday as its next working day.

After 5.30pm it would have been processed Friday. Which means Saturday and Sunday being the weekend the next working day is Monday.

Hi,

I'm in the process of switching from 3 to EE, I've been sent a sim through the post from EE which contained a new mobile number, when I signed up to EE I including my PAC and number I'd been sent from 3. I spoke to customer service who told me that the PAC transfer was on the system and my old sim card would stop working on the 29th Jan and as soon as it went on I could but the EE sim in and it would then work with my old number but now up to the 31st and the old 3 sim is still working. not sure what to do next.

Hi @Cumpy and welcome to the EE community

I'd recommend a read of "how do I keep number" help article , with specific reference to "how long does it take".

You mention about Friday 29th, but it's not clear whether this was for the number port itself, or your EE SIM being live. Have you tried restarting your phone since Friday?

If this doesn't resolve, I'd recommend calling EE C/S on 150 who will have access to your specific account and can advise further.

Hi EE had my PAC roughly 2 weeks ago, couldnt do it straight away as haf to wait for the EE sim yo be sent out.

When i spoke to customer services he said the pac transfer was set to do through on the 29th. So currently i still have the 3 sim in my mobile as its not gone off yet. Did i need to do anything with the ee sim which may have stopped it happening.

No it would already be activated.

Wait until Monday if it hasn't ported over then then ring EE up. Say around 2pm? As it should have started by then at least.

It can take up to midnight though.

Ringing up now won't make things any quicker I don't think as already stated ports don't happen over the weekend (on any network)

Hi

Not sure if you have successfully ported yet but from my experience of moving from 3 to EE, the following happened.

I ordered my SIM on Saturday 16th January and gave over my 3 PAC code

New SIM arrived on the 18th and i put it straight in the phone and removed my old 3 SIM

At 11:54 on the following day, i got a text to tell me i had been ported and to reboot the phone, i did and voila all working.

Regards
