So I recently bought an iPhone XR from BuyMobiles, I wanted to port my old number so I gave them my PAC code and everything, but I’m still waiting to hear anything about it, when I send a text it comes from my old number, but if someone calls me on my old number or texts I do not receive it, when I look at my iPhone in settings it gives me the new number as active and not my old one, is this an issue with BuyMobiles or an issue with EE?

Hi @Alex164

When you refer to your old number, was this with EE or another network?

A PAC is for transferring your number between networks, not within the same one.

Changing your phone and keeping your existing number is called an upgrade, and if you bought your new phone as an upgrade, then you would keep your existing number as a matter of course.

You mention about some calls/texts coming from your new number, and others using your new number. This is potentially what's called a split port, and if so I would recommend you call EE C/S on 150 who will have access to your account and can advise further.
