Adding data to a wifi sim

Hi, i've tried to add data through the app - this facility is not available currently. Tried the add on website - no joy. As it appears that i should be on ee with my phone to do this and I'm with anther carrier. Other than calling and do this by speaking with someone, is there something that i'm missing. TIA

When connected to your mobile WiFi device, visit add-on.ee.co.uk to purchase a data add-on.

It’s a stand alone router. So I can’t connect it to the internet. The sim inside is data only and my own phone is on another network- so it won’t allow me to add data.

Hi @Paul_South,

If you connect your phone to the routers WiFi network, you'll be able to visit add-on.ee.co.uk using your phone's web browser.

It can't be stand-alone. It must have devices connected to it or it wouldn't have any point.

Connect you phone to it over WiFi & it won't be using the other network at all.
