Ported my number. People receive texts from original number

Ported my number, I receive calls and texts normally. But when i call or text, they come from the number that was originally on the new sim card before i ported. What has gone weong? And how to fix?

When did you port your number into EE - which day?

Have you tried restarting your phone?

Around 10 days ago. Can't remember exact say. And yes, phone has been switched off, restarted, many times.

Use Samsung Galaxy s20 FE 5G. But tried aon old phone and still the same.

The strange thing is, lets say i text a friend while I'm a mile away, they will receive the text from a different number. (Original sim number) But when I'm in the same room as them, they will receive the text from my number.

Confused? Because I am. Something gone wrong somewhere.

Yes, that's very confusing!

I'd recommend giving our Tech Gurus a call about this.

They will be able to check your account and check your port details.
