I moved from 3 to EE and tried to keep my number, but it hasn't changed

I used my PAC code when ordering my new phone and when the phone arrived it had a new number.

I waited a day and I began receiving texts as my original number and when I call it comes up as my original number.

But when I check my number on my phone in the About Me section, or in my contacts, it comes up as the new number?

Will this change, or do I need to do something?

What phone do you have?

Are outbound calls & texts using your correct number?

Are inbound calls & texts sent to your correct number, reaching your phone as expected?

Hi,

I have the Samsung 20S FE.

All my texts/calls to and from my phone are from my original number (the one I want to keep).

But the about phone section, and my contact for me says a different number (the new one).

As long as your calls and texts are working with the correct number, your transfer has been successful.

It isn't possible to update the number showing in your settings on Samsung devices.
