How do I activate SIM card PAYG on tracker dongle

I have bought a PawFit dog tracker and an EE PAYG sim card. I cannot find anyway to activate the sim card can anybody help?

The PAYG card came preloaded with £110 credit. I have not been able to find a way to activate it on EE. It asks for its number and then says its sending a text which of course I cannot receive because the sim is in a tracker not a phone. I get no further and nothing on the web site helps.

Have you tried sending a text or making a call from the SIM when it is in a phone?

yes I have put in iphone and I can make and receive calls

Yes it does but the GPRS signal is very poor
