I have unlimited data sim that i use in my Wi-Fi router on my boat but would like a second sim so i can use it in my tablet when im away from boat. How can I go about this. Thank you

You can't have 2 SIMs with the same number if that's what you are meaning.

Thank you for your reply. This is what is so frustrating. I don't even use the phone number as I only use it for data/internet. I use the sim I have on a router on my boat so I want the second sim card to use in my tablet for the internet when I'm staying away. I could not care about the phone number it comes with as I don't use it. I just want a second sim card. To be honest I think will cancel everything as EE don't seem to help at all.

Then get a 2nd SIM, which could be PAYG.

Why not just swop the sim to the other device as it seems you are not using two devices at once?

Hi, thank for your reply. I know I can just take it out of the router but to be honest I don't want to keep taking it out of the router. I pay for unlimited wifi/data and just want a copy of the sim I have so I can use it when I'm out in my tablet. I don't want to pay for a second sim if I'm already paying for unlimited data just seems a bit unfair. I appreciate your reply but cannot work out why it is so hard to get a spare sim to use.

Or indeed use your phone as a portable hotspot?

Having 2 SIMs on the same phone number is technically impossible, so moving to another operator isn't going to make this an option.

Sorry, it isn't possible to have two SIM cards linked to the same subscription.
