Hello there

I phoned 150 to see about cancelling my contract because it's not value for money.

To keep my custom I was offered a massive 8GB deal for £10 per month sim only. Hmmm too good to be true?

I wanted to go ahead with the deal but apparently the only way to do this was by sharing a screen and entering my details via a link received by text message.

Can anyone confirm this. The link did not appear to be one from EE.

The gent was being very nice, but he was adamant I needed to take the deal right now as I would not be offered this again.

In terms of process, this is certainly odd - but not impossible. Are you able to screenshot the link or post a photo of the message? Please don't include any identifiable details if you do. Or (without going to the link), what was the link, exactly?

By means of pricing advice, I would assume this carries a 24month minimum term.
