Can't receive phone calls after transferring old number to EE

My old number has finally transferred on the new EE sim from Three. I restarted the phone, checked that the number is correct into the iPhone setting. I can make calls and it shows my old three number, however I can't receive calls.

What happens when someone calls your ported-in number? Are they reaching a voicemail service (whose?) or is something else happening?

When did your number transfer into EE - which day?

It says “phone number” can’t take your call right now.

I transferred the number yesterday, and I got confirmation today.

It would be interesting to know which network is generating that message, but I appreciate that's not something you can easily identify.

I would suggest you call EE C/S on 150 - they will have access to your specific account and can check your port-in has completed.
