Wrong phone number

Hi,

I ported my number across a few days ago (old number).. now when I send a text the person receiving it shows it coming from my new number which they can't reply to but they can reply to my old number (the one I've ported) ..

So basically my phone is sending a different number to which it receives on... Hope I'm making sense and has anyone had this happen?

Are you using an Apple device?

If your number has ported in you also need to update the ‘My Number’ setting on your device.

Go to Settings > Phone > My Number > Insert correct mobile number.
