Hi @sadecherry18

Your best move is just to change your plan to a 12 or 24month SIM-only one - this is also called an "upgrade" on myEE, but is for all intents just a change of payment plan on your existing SIM, account & and number.

If you were to choose an "additional line", then that's what it says - additional, on a new number, and your current plan would continue unless you explicitly cancelled it.

You can browse through the 12 & 24month SIM-only plans here , then just change your current plan across to one of those. Then just move your existing SIM into your new phone, and carry on!

My phone contract with EE is coming to an end and I've bought my next phone from elsewhere but still want to get a 12 month sim from EE for it.

Should I get a sim contract from where it says on my account that I can now upgrade to a sim only contract? Or should I get a sim from the EE website that are called additional phone sim only contracts, I'm not sure if there's a difference
