Hi @Connor_Downes31

Indeed so - using the PAC, i.e. giving it your new provider, serves to cancel your contract with your current provider.

That will ultimately generate your final bill.

Hello EE Community,

so I currently have a SIM only contract with EE that ends on the 28/07/2020 and I have found a better offer with a different provider for a new SIM / PHONE.

So I followed the guidance of texting PAC to 65075 which gave me the code needed to keep my number for the switch over.

From my understanding, with placing the new order with the PAC code wanting to keep my number, when I receive my new phone and put the SIM card in, it will activate the number on that SIM card.

My query really is, when I activate that SIM card, will it automatically cancel my EE contract? Or will I have to contact someone myself to ensure this is complete?

The text from the PAC number told me I would incur and extra charge on my final bill which is fine, I’ve accepted that with the new order, I just don’t want the contract to renew or roll over for any reason.

I would appreciate any discussion / feedback on this topic that could be provided.

Regards,

Connor
