A...ha.

Your phone has seen the alpha-numeric "word" and is confused whether it's a word or a number. It's chosen to highlight the numbers as if they're, perhaps, a phone number, but then doesn't know what to do with the "word" so left it in black.

You've posted your PAC in plain text on a public forum which probably isn't the best idea (I know it's verified with the phone number, but still) - it looks a perfectly valid PAC to me, and it's auto-generated by EE's billing system so I can only assume there's perhaps some confusion somewhere when you've queried it.

I recently requested a PAC Code. I sent text to 65075 - and received my details which showed as -xxxxxxxxx- I thought this strange and went on to request confirmation of details, only to be told the details were incorrect?? What can I do when EE have given me the details -only to tell me they are incorrect??????

[mod edit: please do not post PAC codes on the public board. Thanks!]

When you say you "went on to request confirmation", how did you do this? How were you told the PAC was incorrect?

I was given the details by TEXT from EE which gave the PAC Details as - xxxxxxxxx-I thought it was strange as the numbers were in Blue, but ONE was in black normal uppercase characters. When I queried it with the same EE Dept, by TEXT, I was told that my PAC Number was incorrect????In frustration I have requested a ohone appointment - to try to sort the problem!!!Rob92

Hi. The Code looked strange-xxxxxxxxx-so I contacted the same number 65075 and asked for confirmation of the reference I had been given - by TEXT.

The reply came back TWICE - each time saying my Code was "incorrect"

Well. EE sent it!!

Finally I have made an appointment to speak to an EE Rep by phone next Thursday to

hopefully get some satisfaction.

I'm sure the Coronovirus has put pressure on the EE System, and my problem will eventually be resolved.

But thanks for your input in the meantime.
