I've been with EE for years and decided I wanted to be with Lyca but still keep my number. I filled out Lycas form and it said it would be done in two days but it seems like EE is holding my number for longer than they need to as its been over a week now and I'd like to just have 1 number not 2. Whats going on? and why is the port taking so long!

Hi @micahg

If you are now a customer of Lyca, you will need to take this up with them.

If your new provider needs to liaise with EE to resolve the issue, they will do so themselves.

I think it depends whether the PAC has been used.

If not, then you're right - the number hasn't left EE and the original account with EE is still open.

If the PAC has been used, the EE account should have been closed, the OP has "left" EE and it should be upto the new provider to resolve any issues. Just like any incoming port to EE is upto EE to resolve, not the "donor" provider.

A user giving the PAC to the new provider does not constitute using the PAC,
