&lt;P&gt;If you're talking about Sky Mobile, then they're not actually a network operator. They're one of the many "piggyback" operators (like Virgin, Asda, Tesco, Giffgaff etc) who currently use O2.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So there's certain network features that you'll almost certainly lose, but.... if those don't matter to you, and price is your main consideration, then &lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/4524"&gt;@Northerner&lt;/a&gt; is absolutely right. What's best for you is the package or deal that best suits your circumstances. And there's no way EE will compete with a £5/month deal.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I currently have an EE contract for £17 a month but at 83 I only use my phone for calls. My contract ends in 1 month so how can I get a better deal to stay with EE as everyone tells me I can get sky for £5 a month amd just get a pac number? Whats the best...&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;If you only use your phone that infrequently and you can get that deal for £5 then go for it. EE cheapest SIM only deal is £13.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you only use it infrequently for calls you could ask EE to switch you to PAYG, For £5 pm you can get 250 mins pm.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
