I'm not sure what you're asking, but if you stay with EE then you will keep your number, yes.

It depends what you're buying.

Changing your phone while keeping your account & number, is called an upgrade.

If you buy your phone as an upgrade from any third party, then yes you will keep your number.

If you buy your phone as a new connection with a new number, then you will get a new number.

There is a convoluted technique for getting a new connection with your existing number, but it does mean leaving EE and then reconnecting.
