&lt;P&gt;What you're asking for sounds like a payment holiday which isn't something EE currently offer.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you're not going to be using your phone for a while, and it's outside the minimum term, you seem to have 2 options:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1: Give 30 days notice and disconnect the number. Wave it goodbye and move on.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2: Give 30 days notice and move the number to PAYG. As long as you make a call or send a text at least every 179 days (as per &lt;A href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Pay-as-you-go-and-Flex/What-is-pay-as-you-go-and-flex-hibernation-and-how-do-I-stop-it/td-p/833279" target="_self"&gt;hibernation policy)&lt;/A&gt; then your number is kept alive on a PAYG basis.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Pausing my plan</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm heading out the country for 4 months and will be in area which will not be able to access EE, would it be possible or is there a way to pause my plan during the time i'm away? My plan is sim baised and is 1 month over its origonal 12 month plan.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
