I'm the account holder and I'm abroad. Why can't I gift some of my unused mobile data to family who are still in the UK?

@HazelW You should be able too there is no reason why you can not do just that.

Thanks for coming to the community.

If your allowance refreshes while you’re away, you would have to wait until you return to the UK to be able to gift again.

@Leanne_T Is it possible to have the reason why this isn’t possible.

And as the account is UK based if someone else who was in the UK had access to that account could they gift the data even through the account holder was out of the UK as in this case.
