Hi, I have an issue with my sim, everything works fine apart from YouTube videos. Videos on other websites etc but just not YouTube. This is on browser rather than the app. Any thoughts?

Does this happen with all videos you try and watch on YouTube?

Have you tried the app to see if this works?

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes all YouTube videos, it works fine on WiFi, but when on data will not load.

I haven't no, thing is it's useful to open them in browser sometimes because you get links through from emails etc..

Hi @Walleed,

Are you able to browse other websites on your mobile phone while the WiFi is turned off?

Have you been able to watch YouTube videos via you EE mobile in the past?

You said that you link off from them on email, have you tried opening YouTube on your device and watching a video directly from the website?

Yes all other websites seem to be ok, and YouTube also used to work fine, that's why I was a bit confused!

Yes even when I go onto the home page it comes up with the same error! Works fine on WiFi tho!

Thanks for getting back to me with this.

Have you made any changes to your phone's settings recently? You could try restarting the device.

Did you manage to try @Leanne_T's suggestion of trying to access the videos via the app?

Google have some hints and tips on their YouTube support page if you are still unable to watch videos on their website.
