Hi, I want to run a music streamer from my 4gee mini, but it requires a hardwired ethernet connection to work.

Can I use the micro USB socket by adding a USB to ethernet adaptor?

Or maybe I could use a range extender with a ethernet port from the 4gee mini and connect it that way?

OK thanks for your help, the range extender was my first choice actually, its a TP Link one that has worked on other networks at other addresses but for some reason I can't get the extender and the 4GEE Mini to actually see each other. Both seem to be set up properly but are not linking up.
Is there any reason why the 4gee cannot link with the extender, is this a known issue when using mobile wifi boxes rather than a router.
Maybe they are just not compatible, does anyone know of a WiFi extender that will work with my device? Unfortunately my hifi streamer will only work via ethernet connection!

Get Outlook for Android
