I bought a 4GEE Wifi mini from PC World yesterday. I have managed to connect both my Apple Mac (late 2009) and my iPhone 7 to the 4Gee internet. I now wish to find the WiFi Mini home page to change the name etc. I have followed what I thought were simple instructions and entered 192.168.1.1 into my browser but both Safari and Firefox will not open the page.

I have seen some similar threads but they do not give a simple solution in plain English.

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

Are you making sure you are connected to your 4GEE WiFi device when trying to open the admin interface, rather than using mobile data or another WiFi connection?

I think I found why I couldn't connect via my iMac. I had an ethernet connected to my Virgin hub which wasn't working at the time - hence I needed the mini wifi. Once I had disconnected the ethernet cable and only had the mini wifi showing against wifi network name, I was able to connect to the mini wifi and check data usage etc. So far have been pleased with the mini wifi which I have used as an emergency back up when my broadband provider goes down.
