You need to phone EE giving 30 days notice of cancellation of your contract. If you are still within your min term you will be liable to pay early termination fees for the rest of the term. It will basically be months left x monthly charge - 20%.

Hi @Peterking ,

If the service provider is unable to provide service in the location where you typically reside and work, and you require such service to perform you job, you may wish to contact the service provider to advise them of the same and to give them a last chance to rectify the situation before you request to be released from the contract on the basis of the service provider failing to perform their contract.

You may need to escalate a few times and persuade various managers that paying for no service is unacceptable. You might also need to read Ofcom online guidance on the matter. Good luck! 🤓 (If you only have a short amount of time left on your contract, you may care about none of the above.)

From a practical perspective, you could try to move the SIM from the router to a phone and see if the data allowance can be used via WiFi hotspot. If that also fails, it's a further reason to be released from contract as it confirms the service provider will be unable to perform the contract.
