It seems to work. Speeds are similar to what I was getting on my phone and north of 50mbps. Great.

Only thing is the range. It’s supposed to be 30m but I go a couple of rooms away and I can see it’s weakening. If I go to the other end of my house it’s very patchy indeed.

using it on 2.4mhz.

is there anything I can do in the settings or is there an extender which doesn’t actually create 2 networks and means you have to flick between networks on your devices constantly?

I have an EE 4G router. My house is quite long so I use a TP Link RE450 booster to get wifi coverage to the far end of the house and upstairs. It uses the same name as the 4G router so no switching required. The WiFi range will depend on the thickness of your walls to a degree.

<LI-SPOILER> </LI-SPOILER>
Thanks. I’ve ordered a fairly cheap mesh system so will see how that plays out. Mercusys Halo S12.

We shall see.
