Our phoneline was bought down by a tree on september 25th, Openreach have still not mended it. So we had a new 4 gee wifi installed last night, which has a much faster speed than our old landline. The only thing is we have some deadspots in the house, could anyone recommend which of the confusing array of products I should get to boost the signal

Hi @fedupofopenreac

Welcome to the community. I'm sorry to hear about your phone line.

Are you able to move the 4G router to a position that gives a better signal in the other rooms?

fedupofopenreac.. the cheaper £30-40 wifi boosters are ok for a short hop but are simply not powerful enough to reach upstairs, through thick walls etc (I used to own one!). I now have a TP Link RE450 which is very good, the RE650 is more powerful still.

Another option are Powerlines - these allow your mains wiring to carry the signal from one room to another. One plugs into the router, the other to your destination room.
