4gee router signal

Hi, just got a 4gee router and all seems to be working fine but only has one bar signal. Just thinking could be even better if improved the signal. I’ve tried in different parts of the house and near the window but only ever get one bar on signal. Any ideas? Many thanks

Hi Mark, I have a 4GEE router and always get 2-3 bars and speeds of 70-90 Mbps download but I am less than a mile from the nearest mast. Do you know how far away your mast is? These routers are very dependent on this, might be worth investigating an external aerial to boost your signal.

Thanks for this. Upto 80 mb is great! I’m getting 20-30mb so could be upto 80mb if improved the signal! Is there an app to locate the mast?

Hi Mark, I use the cell info lite app. Some of the guys on here give it a bad press but it should give you an idea of your nearest mast if you click the 'maps section. 😐

I'm only 300m away from the mast (and clear line of sight) and used to get just over 100mbps. It was glorious but now only getting 30mbps. No idea whats going on.
