Some of the answer will depend on which type ofrouter eg is it from a land-line, ASDL or Fibre?

But it is possible to purchase WiFi boosters such as those made by TP Link. These usually consist of a couple or so boxes and work by feeding the signal from your router straight into the room in question via the mains earth. You can then either connect your device directly into the booster via an ethernet cable. Or you may be able to run it wireless if the booster has a wireless option allowing you to have in effect a mini hot-spot.

Hope this helps.
